We are looking for a proactive Account Executive based in our Boston (Marlborough) office to take full ownership of the Northern U.S. and Canadian territory. This position requires a drive to uncover net-new business and a technical aptitude to truly understand our customers' environment.
About the role
As an Account Executive, you will champion our strategic shift from perpetual licenses to high-value platform subscriptions, managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will lead the customer relationship and drive the commercial strategy, leveraging Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to support your technical objectives and demonstrate value.
In this role you will be a driving force for revenue growth in a high-potential territory. While you manage existing accounts, you will proactively generate new opportunities along with inbound leads. You will leverage sales intelligence tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless.ai) and, most importantly, get on the road to visit customers in person to build relationships and uncover needs.
You will report directly to the U.S. Sales Manager for the region and work out of our Boston office, with regular travel across your territory.
Who are we looking for?
You are a great communicator who strongly qualifying opportunities, ensuring every deal is well‑positioned from the start by asking the discovery questions that reveal a customer’s real priorities. You have the technical curiosity to hold credible, value-focused conversations with R&D leaders, navigating topics like MCUs, debuggers, and device security.
Moreover, you are a confident collaborator, who is secure enough to ask for help when stuck while actively sharing winning strategies with your colleagues. You are creative in your sales approach, always looking for a way to get unblocked and find innovative ways to structure deals or tailor your strategy to secure the win. Above all, you treat your territory like it is your own business and can manage your own schedule without the need for micromanagement.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
At least 3+ years of B2B direct sales experience in Software/SaaS targeting enterprise customers.
An adjacent sales background to embedded (if no embedded experience), such as robotics, manufacturing, IoT, MedTech or automotive.
A track record of exceeding quarterly and annual software and services sales quotas.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills exhibited with internal and external clients.
Strong computer, Microsoft Office, and time management skills.
Experience using CRM systems.
It’s highly desirable if you have track record of success generating net-new business.
Experience in Solution Engineering and/or Technical Sales is highly advantageous.

Compensation & benefits
$185,000 - $210,000 in OT earnings depending on your background and experience.
